Just a little detour on our way from breakfast to the beach to see some airplanes! Holly wants to be the pilot and the mechanic.

Sisters in the Pantry
Almost daily, I find all my daughters hanging out in the pantry. I'm not entirely sure what is so amazing about this room, but it seems to lure them in. Maeve is constantly getting in there to chew on whatever she can find and when Holly and Greta are in the pantry, Maeve will throw a big stink to be included. Maybe it's the microwave? We haven't had one in our home for over 5 years so I think it seems to be magical to my daughters, Holly especially. Holly has heated up countless mugs of water and the girls like to make "carrot cake" by slicing carrots and microwaving them. It's hilarious! I couldn't help but capture a few pictures of my three girls all hanging out. It's really sweet to watch their sisterhood grow.

Sundayssss
Sundays are a weird day. Love me a sabbath and do I ever need a day a rest after homeschooling each week, but Holly and Greta? They do not feel the same, they want to go and play and do and be! Conor is up at 5AM on Sundays and out of the house at 5:40 (I think? I dunno, I'm not up until later) and we have church at 9AM. It's a full morning! We're trying to figure out what our Sundays look like these days... email me with suggestions! Here are some photos of our most recent Sunday.
PS: Maeve's hair.... her sisters love to put it in a ponytail and sometimes they do it before I tell them no and then Maeve hair is all crimped that direction and I just have to go with it. If you've got it, flaunt it.
My darling Holly was baptized and became a member of our church on August 12, 2017. It's a pretty special thing! We feel grateful for our family and friends who joined us to celebrate and we are grateful for those who celebrated with us from afar. Wishing I had taken a few more deep breaths and enjoyed it a little more. Fortunately I can work on that for the next two baptisms in our family!
I love Holly and her enthusiasm for life. She's so positive and loving and fun to be around! She's a really great kid and the best big sister our family could have. I'm proud of her!
I just can't believe that Holly's 8! It was her birthday a week ago. Yesterday, she gave a primary talk and used the line, "when I was 7..." She's so old now! Birthdays are so much fun (and work!), but it makes the kids so happy to be celebrated! I love the joy of the day. We threw Holly a games night birthday party with friends. It was crazy and loud and Holly loved it!
We really hit a home run with the gifts this year. A jean jacket and the game, sleeping queens, were a huge hit! In just less than 3 weeks Holly will be baptized. Eight is such a big milestone!
